Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released a notification for the recruitment of 546 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Primary Teachers. Interested candidates may check the eligibility criteria and apply online from 03-10-2017 to 17-10-2017.

•Post Name: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
•No. of Vacancies: 144
•Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800
•Grade Pay: Rs. 4,600

•Post Name: Primary Teacher
•No. of Vacancies: 220
•Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800
•Grade Pay: Rs. 4,200

Eligibility Criteria for KVS Recruitment (2017):
Educational Qualification:
For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Candidates should have passed Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. Degree from a recognised university and should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. Degree from a recognised university, and should have passed the central teacher eligibility test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE.
For Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed 12th class with 50% marks and CTET with two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

Age Limit (as on 31-10-2017): 
For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Maximum 40 years
For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Maximum 35 years
For Primary Teacher: Maximum 30 years

Age Relaxation:

Selection Process: 
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Personal Interview.
Application Fee: General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 750 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and PWD candidates don’t have to pay any fee.
