KVPY Entrance Exam 2017 - 400 Seats, Apply Online
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) has released a notification for the Entrance Exam of 400 Seats of Streams SA, SX and SB. Vacancy Details:
•Streams: SA, SX and SB
•No. of Seats: 400
•Scholarship: Rs. 5,200-20,000
Exam Centre: All India
Educational Qualification:
Stream SA: Students studying in Standard XI can appear for SA provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X.
Stream SX: Students studying in Standard XII can appear for SX provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X, and must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in Standard XII.
Stream SB: Students studying in 1st year of undergraduate programme can appear for SB provided they have scored a minimum of 80% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in Standard X, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Science subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in standard XII, and must score a minimum of 60% marks in 1st year final examination.
Age Limit: No Age Limit
Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination.
Application Fee:
General/OBC Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 and SC/ST/PWD Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card/e-Challan.
